Kochi: Fuselage Innovations, a drone technology startup incubated at Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), has earned global recognition after its co-founder and Managing Director, Devan Chandrasekharan, was featured in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 list.
Devan Chandrasekharan, an aerospace engineer, was selected in the Industry, Manufacturing and Energy category in recognition of his contributions to indigenous technology development and innovation.
The achievement marks a significant milestone for Fuselage Innovations and highlights the growing global prominence of India’s deep-tech and aerospace startup ecosystem.
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Ernakulam, Fuselage Innovations develops advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and autonomous technologies for applications across agriculture, industry, disaster management, defence, and surveillance.
The company’s precision agriculture solutions, drone-based pesticide spraying services, and aerial intelligence platforms are being widely adopted by farmers across the country.
Over the years, Fuselage Innovations has received several national and state-level accolades, including the Government of India’s National Startup Award (Aspire), further strengthening its position as a leading innovator in the drone technology sector.

Commenting on the recognition, Devan Chandrasekharan said, “The Forbes recognition marks a significant milestone for the company, reflecting the collective efforts of the Fuselage team.
It will further strengthen our vision of building globally competitive deep-tech and aerospace solutions from India.”
The recognition has also been welcomed by Kerala Startup Mission. KSUM Chief Executive Officer Anoop Ambika said the achievement is a matter of immense pride for Kerala’s startup ecosystem and demonstrates the ability of young entrepreneurs from the state to create pioneering technologies with global impact.
Among the flagship innovations developed by Fuselage Innovations is the FIA QD10 drone, which can carry payloads of up to 10 kilograms.
The drone is designed for agricultural operations, seed sowing, and wildfire management, offering practical solutions for a range of field applications.
Fuselage Innovations has also developed Nireeksh AG, an aerial intelligence platform designed for crop monitoring and agricultural analytics.
Another notable innovation is LARS (Load Assisted Rotary Stabilization System), a technology developed to safely manage heavy loads in ships and industrial facilities.
In addition to its commercial and industrial applications, Fuselage Innovations is actively engaged in the design and development of mission-specific drones for defence sectors, supporting the advancement of indigenous aerospace capabilities.
Beyond research and manufacturing, the company operates an authorised Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO), providing professional training programmes for aspiring drone pilots and contributing to the development of a skilled workforce in the sector.
As part of its growth strategy, Fuselage Innovations is expanding its footprint in international markets, including Canada, as it seeks to scale its advanced drone technologies and aerospace solutions globally.
