Pune: TractorNext, a next-generation Agri and Rural-Tech ecosystem focused on agricultural mechanisation and rural equipment, has been formally unveiled by G. S. Grewal, President of the Tractor and Mechanization Association (TMA) and a veteran of the agricultural machinery industry.
The TractorNext platform aims to simplify access to equipment information and support better purchasing decisions among farmers, rural entrepreneurs and equipment buyers.
The platform was launched at an industry gathering in Pune that brought together stakeholders from the agricultural machinery, equipment distribution, Agri-technology and related sectors.
TractorNext features more than 1,000 products from over 100 Indian and international brands.
The platform brings together Agri drones, tractors, farm implements, bulldozers, OTR tyres and other equipment categories on a single discovery interface.
As agricultural mechanisation evolves, farmers and rural businesses are increasingly required to evaluate equipment based on suitability, performance, technology, operating economics and long-term value.
TractorNext seeks to address this need by providing product information, comparison tools and access to relevant expertise through a common digital platform.
Speaking on the occasion, G. S. Grewal said: “India has considerable potential to advance agricultural mechanisation, particularly through greater awareness, better access to technology and informed equipment choices.
Today, farmers have more options than ever before, but selecting the right technology for their specific needs remains a challenge.
Digital platforms that make reliable product information accessible, simplify comparisons and connect buyers with appropriate solutions can play an important role in this journey. Ultimately, mechanisation must help farmers improve productivity, efficiency and profitability.”
The launch of TractorNext comes as farmers and rural businesses increasingly need access to information that can help them assess different agricultural machinery and equipment options.
By bringing multiple equipment categories onto one platform, TractorNext aims to make product discovery and comparison more accessible.
TractorNext to Support OEMs and Equipment Suppliers
TractorNext also aims to support original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and equipment suppliers by offering digital visibility, regional outreach and opportunities to connect with prospective customers.
The platform intends to combine product discovery with local-language communication and market engagement, with the objective of helping manufacturers and suppliers engage with customers across regional markets.
Sharing his vision for TractorNext, Vishnu Dhas, Founder and CEO, said: “Our vision is to make equipment selection simpler and more informed for India’s farming and rural communities.
Whether someone is purchasing an Agri-drone, Tractor, an agricultural implement, bulldozers or specialised equipment, the decision involves a significant investment.
We want TractorNext to become a trusted source of information that helps buyers understand their options and make choices suited to their needs. At the same time, we aim to help manufacturers connect more effectively with customers across regional markets.”
TractorNext Brings Multiple Equipment Categories Together
With more than 1,000 products from over 100 Indian and international brands, TractorNext brings several agricultural and rural equipment categories together through a common discovery interface.
The platform covers Agri drones, tractors, farm implements, bulldozers, OTR tyres and other equipment, allowing users to explore information across different machinery categories.
The TractorNext platform is positioned as an Agri and Rural-Tech ecosystem focused on agricultural mechanisation and rural equipment, with product discovery, comparison and access to relevant expertise forming key elements of its offering.
The gathering also featured Leader as a Coach, a book authored by G. S. Grewal. The book draws on his extensive leadership experience and explores the importance of developing people through coaching, empowerment and continuous learning.
