ALEXANDRIA, Va.: Fintech venture capital firm QED Investors has strengthened its Asia presence by appointing Kshitij Jayakrishnan as Principal.
Based in Bangalore, Jayakrishnan will work closely with Sandeep Patil, Partner and Head of Asia, to lead early- and growth-stage fintech investments across India, Southeast Asia, and the broader APAC region.
Kshitij Jayakrishnan to Lead Fintech Investments Across Asia
With more than a decade of experience in venture capital and consulting, Kshitij Jayakrishnan brings deep expertise to QED Investors. He previously served at Elevation Capital, where he played a pivotal role in fintech and gaming investments.
Over his seven-year tenure, he led more than 20 high-impact deals, including Scapia, Dezerv, Mintifi, ZFunds, and FamApp. His leadership helped shape Elevation’s strategic approach to India’s rapidly growing fintech ecosystem.

At Elevation, Jayakrishnan was also known for publishing market theses, reports, and podcasts, which gained recognition for identifying emerging industry trends and supporting category-defining founders early.
Before Elevation, he worked with Bain & Company, advising private equity, automotive, and financial services clients. He is an alumnus of IIT Bombay.
