Chennai: Alembic Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Ramesh Juneja as Executive Vice President – Human Health (Sales and Marketing) for its India business.
With more than three decades of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, Ramesh Juneja brings extensive expertise in leading large businesses across both acute and chronic therapy segments.
Throughout his professional journey, Ramesh Juneja has held several leadership positions at prominent pharmaceutical companies, including Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Cipla.
During his tenure at these organizations, he played a key role in driving business growth, expanding market presence, strengthening commercial execution, and building high-performing teams across multiple therapy areas.
He also led large-scale sales and marketing functions while contributing to the enhancement of organizational capabilities in highly competitive markets.

Prior to joining Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Ramesh Juneja founded Ramesh Juneja Business Advisory and co-founded BJW Health Pvt. Ltd.
He also served as Senior Vice President at Reliance Retail, where he led the pan-India launch of the Netmeds B2B business and Netmeds Express stores.
Ramesh Juneja holds a degree in Pharmacy from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University and an MBA from Symbiosis International University.
He has also completed Executive Development Programs at the Indian School of Business and the National University of Singapore.
