Pune: WeWork India Management Limited has announced strategic leadership appointments aimed at accelerating growth across its Managed Offices and Rivet by WeWork India businesses, with Zuni Chitnis taking charge of the company’s Managed Offices expansion in Pune.

The appointment of Zuni Chitnis as Associate Director – Managed Offices underscores the company’s focus on strengthening its enterprise business while expanding its footprint in one of India’s fastest-growing commercial markets.

Alongside Zuni Chitnis, Drishya Pillai has joined as Associate Director – Design & Build for Rivet by WeWork India to lead the platform’s nationwide expansion.

The appointments reflect WeWork India’s strategy of investing in specialized leadership as demand for flexible workspaces and integrated workplace solutions continues to grow across the country.

India’s office leasing market continues to witness strong momentum, with gross leasing volumes reaching 21.9 million square feet during the first quarter of 2026, representing a 13% year-on-year increase.

The growth has been driven by Global Capability Centres (GCCs), multinational corporations, and changing enterprise real estate strategies.

Against this backdrop, WeWork India is positioning itself to capture a larger share of the enterprise workspace market by strengthening leadership capabilities in key business segments.

Zuni Chitnis to Lead Managed Offices Growth in Pune

As part of the company’s expansion strategy, Zuni Chitnis brings more than two decades of experience across hospitality, client relationship management, and flexible workspace solutions.

Her previous experience in driving flex and managed office solutions at CoWrks has equipped her with deep expertise in understanding enterprise requirements for customized workspace arrangements.

Zuni said: “Managed Offices have moved from a niche consideration to a strategic imperative for enterprises prioritizing efficiency and flexibility. Pune is one of India’s most dynamic commercial markets, with strong demand across IT, BFSI, manufacturing, and GCCs, and the opportunity here is significant.

WeWork India is uniquely positioned to capture that demand, and I look forward to driving that growth for our enterprise clients.”

In her new role, Zuni Chitnis will focus on expanding WeWork India’s managed office footprint across Pune, strengthening enterprise relationships, and delivering customized workspace solutions aligned with evolving business real estate strategies.

Priti Shetty, Chief People and Culture Officer, highlighted the changing dynamics of India’s workplace ecosystem. She said: “India’s workplace market is undergoing a structural shift, and WeWork India is leading that transformation. Today, enterprises are looking for strategic partners who can help them navigate workplace transformation across design, flexibility, operational efficiency, and employee experience. As we continue to expand our presence across managed offices, workplace consulting, and design-build solutions, strengthening leadership in these high-growth segments is a strategic priority.

Zuni and Drishya’s appointments are a reflection of that strategy. Their deep market expertise and strong industry relationships will help us accelerate growth, deepen client partnerships, and enhance our ability to serve enterprise customers across their workplace lifecycle. These appointments reflect our long-term commitment to building future-ready leadership and investing ahead of market demand.”

The company believes strengthening leadership in these specialized verticals will help it capitalize on rising enterprise demand while delivering scalable workplace solutions.

Rivet by WeWork India Expands Design and Build Capabilities

Alongside the appointment of Zuni Chitnis, WeWork India is also reinforcing the leadership of Rivet by WeWork India, its design and build platform focused on delivering customized, experience-led workspaces.

Rivet combines workplace design, execution, and operational expertise through an integrated delivery model that offers enterprises unified ownership and lifecycle visibility. To strengthen this business, Drishya Pillai has been appointed Associate Director – Business Development.

An architect and workplace strategist, Drishya’s experience spans architecture, interior design, workplace strategy, and commercial real estate. In her new role, she will lead business development initiatives, drive market expansion, build strategic partnerships, and accelerate client acquisition across India.

Speaking about her new responsibility, Drishya said: “Organisations today are making smarter decisions about their workspaces, and what they want is a partner who understands both design and business. A great workspace design goes beyond aesthetics, it must be buildable, adaptable, and able to perform years after handover.

At Rivet, backed by WeWork India’s deep experience in designing, building, and operating workspaces at scale, we understand how people actually use spaces over time, and what it takes to make them last. That intersection of thoughtful design, operational reality, and long-term performance is where Rivet sits. I’m excited to help build Rivet into the market’s trusted partner.”

WeWork India Continues to Invest in Future-Ready Leadership

The appointments of Zuni Chitnis and Drishya Pillai demonstrate WeWork India’s broader strategy of investing in leaders capable of driving commercially scalable and differentiated businesses.

As flexible workspaces, managed offices, workplace consulting, and integrated design solutions increasingly converge into a unified enterprise offering, the company is strengthening its leadership to support long-term growth.

Operating across eight cities with more than 1.26 lakh desks and a member portfolio comprising nearly 77% enterprise clients, WeWork India continues to position itself as a leading provider of agile, premium, and purpose-built workplace solutions for businesses across India.
