Pune: India’s startup ecosystem witnessed a sharp decline in funding activity during the week of July 24–30, 2026, according to the Sahyadri Startups Weekly Tracker prepared in collaboration with Tracxn.
The Sahyadri Startups Weekly Tracker reported that startups raised $43.4 million across seven funding rounds, representing a 70.08% decline compared with the previous week’s $144.9 million and an 87.19% drop from the $338.4 million recorded during July 10–16, 2026.
The Sahyadri Startups Weekly Tracker shows that despite the slowdown in overall funding value, investment activity continued across seed, early-stage and late-stage companies.
During the current period, late-stage funding accounted for 55.3% of the total funding, followed by early-stage funding at 23.0% and seed-stage funding at 21.7%.
The report indicates that startups collectively secured $43.3588 million during the week, significantly lower than the $144.903 million raised in the previous week and the $338.436 million recorded in the week before that.

According to the Sahyadri Startups Weekly Tracker, funding across investment stages during July 24–30, 2026 was as follows:
- Late-stage funding: $23.96 million (55.3%)
- Early-stage funding: $9.98 million (23.0%)
- Seed-stage funding: $9.42 million (21.7%)
