KSUM to Hold Online Session on Deep Tech Recognition with Startup India on June 24

Thiruvananthapuram: Strengthening awareness around deep tech recognition, Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), in association with Startup India, will conduct a free online session on the Deep Tech recognition process on June 24 at 3:30 pm.

The session, which will be led by experts and officials from Startup India, aims to guide startups through the eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and application procedures involved in securing deep tech recognition under the new guidelines formulated by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).

The online programme is designed to help startups aspiring to obtain deep tech recognition gain clarity on various aspects of the process, including eligibility and qualification criteria, application submission procedures, supporting documentation requirements, and evaluation parameters.

Participants will also receive insights on effectively responding to recognition-specific questions during the assessment process.

According to KSUM, startups exploring deep tech recognition will benefit from a comprehensive understanding of the recognition framework and the latest DPIIT guidelines.

Startups operating in emerging and advanced technology sectors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Space Tech, Semiconductors, Biotechnology, Climate Tech, and Advanced Manufacturing are expected to particularly benefit from the session.

These startups will gain a clear understanding of how to register their ventures as deep tech startups in accordance with the newly issued guidelines.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts by KSUM and Startup India to support innovation-driven enterprises and facilitate wider adoption of the deep tech recognition framework among India’s startup ecosystem.
