Indian Startup Funding Tracker: $28.3 Million Raised During 11-17 September

Indian Startup Funding September 11-17, 2026

Pune: Indian Startup Funding declined sharply to $28.3 million during the week of 11 September to 17 September 2026, down 86.74% from the previous week’s $213 million, according to the latest weekly funding tracker from Sahyadri Startups and Tracxn.

The latest Indian Startup Funding figure also represents a 91.19% decline compared with the $321 million recorded during 28 August to 3 September 2026. The tracker covers equity funding rounds and technology companies.

Indian Startup Funding Trend

The Indian Startup Funding total stood at $28.3 million for the 11–17 September period, compared with $213 million in the previous week and $321 million in the week before that.

This marks an 86.74% week-on-week decline in Indian Startup Funding and a 91.19% fall compared with the funding recorded two weeks earlier.

The funding trend indicates a significant reduction in the amount raised by Indian technology companies during the latest reporting period.

Stage-wise Indian Startup Funding

The stage-wise distribution of Indian Startup Funding also changed during the week.

Seed-stage funding accounted for 34.7% of the funding recorded between 11 September and 17 September 2026, while early-stage funding represented 65.3%.

In comparison, during the previous week, seed-stage funding accounted for 5.3%, early-stage funding for 20.7% and late-stage funding for 74%.

During 28 August to 3 September, seed-stage funding stood at 6.5%, early-stage funding at 35.8% and late-stage funding at 57.7%.

The latest Indian Startup Funding data therefore shows a shift in the funding mix towards seed and early-stage rounds compared with the previous week, when late-stage funding accounted for the largest share.

Top Indian Startup Funding Deals

Provilac Dairy Farms recorded the largest funding deal during the week, raising $14 million.

Other notable Indian Startup Funding deals during the period included:

  • Dheya Engineering Technologies – $4.5 million
  • Firi – $3 million
  • BonV Aero – $1.6 million
  • Enlight Metals – $1.5 million
  • 1312 Interactive – $1 million
  • Factrika – $0.9 million
  • AjnaLens – $0.8 million
  • Ecosys Cleaners – $0.5 million
  • Crowwd – $0.3 million

The Indian Startup Funding data shows that Provilac Dairy Farms’ $14 million round was substantially larger than the other deals tracked during the week.

Most Active Venture Capital Investors

The tracker identified Avaana Capital Advisors, Chimera and Info Edge Ventures among the most active venture capital investors during the period.

Avaana Capital Advisors participated in the round involving Dheya Engineering Technologies, while Chimera was associated with the funding round for 1312 Interactive. Info Edge Ventures participated in the round involving Factrika.

These investors were among the venture capital firms identified in the latest Indian Startup Funding tracker.

IPOs and Acquisitions

The latest week recorded one acquisition and one tech IPO, according to the tracker.

The acquisition involved Perspect, which was acquired by Unstop on 17 September 2026.

On the public-market side, Rentomojo was the only company identified as having gone public during the week.

The exits data shows that the previous week recorded two IPOs and one acquisition, while the week before that recorded two IPOs and two acquisitions. The latest Indian Startup Funding tracker therefore recorded fewer exits than the previous two periods.

The 12-month funding trend shows fluctuations in monthly Indian Startup Funding levels.

  • January 2026: $1,306 million

  • March 2026: $2,325 million
  • April 2026: $657 million

  • September 2026: $529 million

The Indian Startup Funding figure for September 2026 stands at $529 million in the 12-month tracker, while March 2026 recorded the highest monthly funding at $2.325 billion.
