MOHALI: Knack RCM (Knack Global Limited) has announced a strategic partnership with Prosper AI, the AI Workforce to turn patient demand into growth, to embed AI voice agents across Knack RCM’s revenue cycle delivery.
The collaboration brings together Prosper AI’s voice automation and Knack RCM’s specialty-intelligent expertise to create an operating model where technology enables payer intelligence to be gathered at scale, while people act on the insights.
Every revenue cycle operation has skilled professionals spending hours on hold to confirm claim status, verify benefits or check on an authorization that should have taken 30 seconds.
That hour, multiplied across the industry, represents RCM’s quietest failure: expert talent being consumed by work beneath its capabilities.
The Knack RCM and Prosper AI partnership is designed to address this challenge by shifting time-consuming payer and patient calls to AI-powered voice agents, allowing specialists to focus on work that requires human judgment.
Prosper AI’s HIPAA-compliant and SOC 2 Type II-compliant certified voice agents handle calls across both patients and payers.
The agents navigate payer phone trees, wait on hold, communicate with live representatives and write the results directly into existing systems.
With deep integrations into leading EHRs and connections to practice-management and clearinghouse platforms, Prosper AI executes automated end-to-end workflows across benefits verification, prior-authorization status, claims and denial follow-up, and patient billing.
Knack RCM will deploy these AI voice agents across call types that consume the most specialist time.
This will redirect its experts toward complex denials, appeals, payer negotiation and the specialty-intelligent judgment that determines whether a claim is collected.
Accordingly, every call becomes structured data, while every pattern in that data reaches a Knack RCM specialist ready to act.
“This is not about fewer people. It is about people doing the work they do best,” said Gautam Barai, Managing Director and CEO, Knack RCM.
“Our specialists bring judgment, not patience with payer IVRs. Knack’s AI-enabled platform has been built on years of payer, denial and workflow data from the most medically complex segments in healthcare – DME, anesthesia, physician practices and rural hospitals.
Our specialty-trained teams already decide how a claim is worked, with AI-generated outputs which shall always be subject to a human making the decision. What Prosper AI adds is a voice: AI that can execute the most time-consuming payer calls and feed what it learns back into our platform.
This is not automation layered onto our revenue cycle — it is our revenue cycle, learning faster. Since our commercial model is outcome-aligned, our clients don’t pay for calls made; they benefit from claims collected.”
The partnership will therefore combine Knack RCM’s revenue cycle expertise with Prosper AI’s ability to execute payer workflows at scale, with the aim of giving specialists more time to focus on complex work requiring human judgment.
“The future of healthcare will have an AI workforce to handle some of the most complex patient and payer interactions across scheduling, benefits checks, prior auth, and billing,” said Xavier de Gracia, Co-founder and Co-CEO of Prosper AI.
“Knack understands that better than almost anyone. By pairing Prosper AI’s ability to execute payer workflows at scale with Knack’s deep RCM expertise, we’re giving specialists more time for the complex work that requires human judgment, and building a faster, more effective model for the entire industry.”
Through the partnership, Knack RCM and Prosper AI will combine AI-powered voice automation, structured data and specialty-trained human expertise across revenue cycle workflows, creating an operating model in which AI handles time-intensive interactions while specialists focus on decisions that require human judgment.
