Mumbai: The Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society (Publicis Groupe) will bring its flagship Global Meeting to India for the first time on November 2–3, 2026, marking the first occasion the event will be hosted outside France.
Organised in partnership with the Embassy of France in India and the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI), the summit will be held as part of the 2026 France–India Year of Innovation, bringing together global leaders to discuss innovation, technology and sustainable growth.
For more than two decades, the Women’s Forum has served as a leading global platform for dialogue on business and society. Its decision to host its first Global Meeting outside France reflects India’s growing leadership in innovation and its expanding role in shaping the global economy.
Held under the theme “The Future of Prosperity: Women, Work and the Forces Reshaping our World,” the Women’s Forum Global Meeting will place India at the centre of discussions on innovation and inclusive prosperity.
The summit will bring together leaders from India, France and across the world to examine the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI), entrepreneurship, leadership and the future of work.
India’s emergence as one of the world’s fastest-growing major economies, alongside its leadership in digital public infrastructure, entrepreneurship and technological innovation, has made it the destination for the Women’s Forum’s first Global Meeting outside France.
The Women’s Forum summit will provide a platform for leaders from India, France and the international community to exchange ideas, share best practices and strengthen partnerships that support innovation-led and more inclusive economic growth.
Discussions will focus on the skills, policies and innovations required to thrive in an AI-driven future while ensuring that the benefits of technological advancement are shared more broadly across society.

As part of the France–India Year of Innovation, the Women’s Forum Global Meeting will promote dialogue and collaboration among businesses, technology leaders, public institutions, academia and civil society.
The event forms part of the broader cooperation between France and India in advancing innovation, sustainable development and more widely shared economic prosperity.

Hosted in Mumbai, India’s financial capital, the Women’s Forum summit will showcase impactful initiatives from India and around the world while strengthening cross-border collaboration and developing solutions to global challenges.
The discussions will cover areas including artificial intelligence, the future of work, climate resilience, demographic shifts and women’s economic participation.
According to the organisers, the decision to bring the Women’s Forum’s first Global Meeting outside France to India highlights the country’s growing influence as a global innovation hub and its strategic role in shaping a future built on innovation and fairer prosperity.
