Young Educators Reva Mehta and Diya Shah Inaugurate Two Wise Academy in Pune

Two Wise Academy

Pune: Two Wise Academy, a new educational institute founded by young educators Reva Akash Mehta and Diya Nilesh Shah, has been inaugurated at Prasad Apartment, T.M.V. Colony, Gultekadi, Pune.

The academy aims to provide personalised learning experiences for students across multiple education boards while focusing on conceptual understanding and student-centric teaching.

The inauguration ceremony of Two Wise Academy was attended by Frank Freese, former Principal of The Bishop’s School, Pune, who has led all three branches of the institution during his distinguished career.

Siddhi Avinash Shilimkar, Corporator, also attended the event, extending her support and best wishes to the academy’s young founders.

Founded by 24-year-old Reva Akash Mehta, Two Wise Academy reflects her passion for education backed by a strong academic foundation and six years of senior-secondary teaching experience.

Reva holds an MBA degree from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, and has previously served as a senior-secondary teacher at Symbiosis International School, Pune.

Although she pursued management studies, her classroom experience reinforced her decision to build her career in education.

Sharing the vision behind Two Wise Academy, Reva said, “Knowledge is not boring; the way it is imparted is what matters. Understanding every child personally before teaching them is important, and here at Two Wise, we aim exactly at that.”

Co-founder Diya Nilesh Shah, also 24, is a BBA Finance graduate with six years of teaching experience, primarily working with upper-primary students. Through Two Wise Academy, Reva and Diya aim to combine their experience across different age groups to create a learning environment where students receive personalised attention and education extends beyond conventional classroom methods.

Addressing parents and guests during the inauguration, chief guest Frank Freese expressed confidence in the vision of the academy and its founders.

Speaking to the parents present, he said, “Many of you have little children whom you want to educate, and I think you’ve come to a very, very good start with these young ladies at Two Wise Academy.”

Recalling his conversation with Reva about her decision to pursue education as her life’s calling, Freese drew an analogy with her family’s jewellery business.

He said, “When Reva told me what her passion was and why she wanted to get into this field, I thought – when you go to the jeweller’s shop, you get something of value and you give more back. Here, these two young ladies are not looking for big money; they are looking to give back to society.”

Two Wise Academy offers educational support for students from Classes 4 to 12 across the IB, ICSE, IGCSE and ISC curricula.

The academy focuses on conceptual understanding, personalised attention and engaging teaching methodologies designed to make learning meaningful for every student.
