KPIT Q1 FY27 Results: Revenue at $176.8 Million, EBITDA at 17.2%

Pune: KPIT Q1 FY27 began on a positive note as KPIT Technologies announced an 8.9% year-on-year (YoY) growth in rupee revenue and secured strong new engagement wins worth USD 257 million during the first quarter of FY27.

The company said its Q1 performance was slightly ahead of the outlook shared at the end of the previous quarter while maintaining its medium-term outlook.

KPIT Technologies, a global leader in building mobility solutions for a cleaner, smarter, and safer world, reported revenue of USD 176.8 million during KPIT Q1 FY27.

KPIT Q1 FY27 Performance Highlights

For KPIT Q1 FY27, the company reported:

  • Revenue stood at USD 176.8 million
  • 8.9% YoY growth in rupee revenue
  • 0.1% YoY constant currency (CC) revenue growth
  • 0.6% YoY decline in dollar revenue
  • EBITDA margin of 17.2%
  • EBIT margin of 12.3%

Growth driven by the US geography and After Sales and Vehicle Engineering & Design practices.

The company stated that EBITDA margins during KPIT Q1 FY27 were impacted due to revenue reduction. However, it expects margins to improve successively every quarter, supported by revenue mix, business growth, and AI-led productivity gains.

KPIT also reported Total Contract Value (TCV) of USD 257 million from new engagements won during the quarter, supported by a healthy pipeline aided by products and solutions.

Company Maintains Medium-Term Outlook

Commenting on KPIT Q1 FY27, Kishor Patil, Co-founder, CEO and MD, KPIT, said: “The Q1FY27 performance has been slightly ahead of the outlook we shared at the end of the quarter.

The company added that its healthy pipeline continues to be supported by products and solutions while maintaining confidence in its medium-term outlook and long-term growth strategy.
