Tata AutoComp and Jahwa Electronics to Manufacture Advanced PTC Heaters in India

Pune: Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd. has announced a joint venture with Korea-based Jahwa Electronics to locally manufacture and supply advanced low-voltage and high-voltage PTC heaters for India’s rapidly expanding electric and hybrid vehicle market.

The partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening thermal management solutions for the country’s evolving mobility ecosystem.

The collaboration between Tata AutoComp and Jahwa Electronics will combine Jahwa Electronics’ engineering capabilities and expertise in magnetic materials with Tata AutoComp’s strong manufacturing ecosystem, customer relationships, and established presence in the Indian automotive sector.

The joint venture is aimed at addressing the growing demand for efficient thermal management technologies in India’s electric vehicle and hybrid vehicle segments.

Through localized manufacturing of low-voltage and high-voltage PTC heaters, the venture also positions India as a strategic hub for Jahwa Electronics as global and domestic OEMs continue to scale investments in electrification.
