Pune: Intangles, a predictive fleet intelligence company, has announced its AIS-140 certified product portfolio in India, expanding its predictive fleet intelligence offerings across the country’s commercial vehicle ecosystem.
The AIS-140 portfolio is available in four configurations: InCert, InSight, InGenious, and InVision+.
The product range supports vehicles across multiple commercial vehicle segments, including cabs, three-wheelers, small commercial vehicles, vans, light and intermediate commercial vehicles, medium and heavy commercial vehicles, and buses. Compatibility varies by configuration.
With the new AIS-140 range, operators can select a configuration based on their requirements, regardless of fleet size.
The portfolio is designed to make predictive capabilities accessible to businesses operating a few vehicles as well as larger fleets.
AIS-140 Compliance and Predictive Fleet Intelligence
AIS-140 sets out the Government of India’s requirements for vehicle tracking and emergency alerts.
However, AIS-140 does not require engine data, leaving parameters such as fault codes, coolant temperature, and fuel analytics outside its scope.
A device installed solely to meet AIS-140 requirements can show where a vehicle is but provides limited insight into the vehicle’s condition.
While this can help fleet owners meet compliance requirements, it does little to address everyday operational challenges such as optimising costs, improving productivity, and making operations safer.
In India’s highly competitive logistics sector, identifying developing problems before dispatch can give operators time to arrange repairs and avoid disruptions to consignments or passenger services.

InSight adds driver behaviour reports, fuel consumption insights, and fault codes with repair guidance.
InGenious offers predictive vehicle health monitoring, advanced fuel management, DriveIQ driver scorecards, and operations automation.
InVision+ combines the certified device with AI-powered video telematics through two cameras, with one camera facing the road and the other facing the driver. The configuration also includes in-cabin voice alerts, road warnings, and video on demand.
All four configurations operate on InRoute, Intangles’ fleet intelligence platform.
