  • TrackWizz and NISM Launch Collaboration to Build RegTech and AML Compliance Skills

    TrackWizz

Mumbai: The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) and TrackWizz, the RegTech platform of TSS Consultancy Private Limited, have collaborated to strengthen technology-enabled education and capacity building in regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering (AML) and market surveillance through NISM’s RegTech Lab.

The collaboration aims to bring simulation-based learning to students and capital market professionals, helping them understand how technology can support regulatory compliance, identify suspicious transactions and strengthen market surveillance practices.

The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between understanding regulatory requirements and applying them in real-world situations.

Through structured learning programmes, technology demonstrations and case-based simulations, participants will gain practical exposure to the use of technology in identifying financial malpractices and potential money-laundering activities.

NISM and TrackWizz to Facilitate Practical RegTech Learning

Through the collaboration, NISM’s RegTech Lab will facilitate experiential learning using case studies and simulated scenarios informed by domain expertise and capital market compliance practices.

Participants will explore key stages of the compliance process, including risk assessment, transaction monitoring, alert analysis, investigation and regulatory reporting.

The initiative will support NISM’s broader objectives of professional education, research, innovation and capacity building in the securities markets.

TrackWizz will contribute its technology platform and subject-matter expertise in anti-money laundering (AML), Central KYC (CKYC) compliance and market surveillance to support the RegTech Lab’s learning objectives.

The partnership will provide an opportunity to connect regulatory concepts with practical applications of regulatory technology (RegTech) in the capital markets.

TrackWizz by TSS supports a significant share of RegTech compliance requirements across the capital markets and their stakeholders, bringing industry experience and technological expertise to the collaboration with NISM.

NISM Director Highlights Technology-Enabled Capacity Building

Shri Shashi Krishnan, Director, NISM, said, “Our vision is to build capacity for our capital markets using new-age technologies and innovative learning models.

The RegTech Lab seeks to bridge the gap between knowledge of regulatory requirements and their practical application, preparing professionals who understand both market conduct risks and the technologies that help identify and address them.”

The collaboration is intended to strengthen the practical understanding of regulatory requirements among students and capital market professionals by exposing them to technology-enabled approaches to compliance and surveillance.

TrackWizz Emphasises Technology in Combating Financial Crime

Sagar Chandrakant Tanna, Founder and CEO, TrackWizz – TSS Consultancy, said, “We are committed to combating financial crime and believe that domain expertise, combined with technology, is essential to strengthening the RegTech ecosystem.

Our experience in surveillance technology will contribute to this initiative by helping learners understand how technology can support compliance and the detection of financial misconduct.”

Through its contribution to the RegTech Lab, TrackWizz will support learning around the application of surveillance technology and compliance solutions in detecting financial misconduct and addressing regulatory requirements.

    NISM–TrackWizz Collaboration Formalised in Mumbai

The collaboration was formalised through an exchange of the agreement at the NISM–TrackWizz Collaboration Meet, held at the TSS Consultancy office in Mumbai.

The event was attended by Shashi Krishnan, Director, NISM; Chandrakant Tanna, Chairperson, TrackWizz – TSS Consultancy; Sagar Tanna, CEO; Malay Shah, CTO; Amit Amlani, CFO; Sanket Nagesh Ahire, Manager, NISM; and other stakeholders from both organisations.

The collaboration brings together NISM’s focus on professional education and capacity building with TrackWizz’s technology platform and expertise in AML, CKYC compliance and market surveillance.
