New Delhi: Global apparel retailer UNIQLO has announced the opening of two new stores in India, further strengthening its retail presence in key urban markets.
The upcoming stores will be located at Phoenix Market City, Pune, opening on 15 May, and Phoenix Marketcity Bangalore, opening on 5 June.
Driven by growing customer appreciation for high-quality and functional clothing, UNIQLO stated that the new stores are part of its ongoing expansion strategy in India.
Through this move, UNIQLO aims to bring its LifeWear philosophy – clothing designed to make everyday living better – to a wider customer base across the country.
“The response from our customers in India has been incredibly encouraging, especially in cities like Pune and Bengaluru where there is a growing demand for simple, high-quality everyday clothing,” said Kenji Inoue, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, UNIQLO India.
“With these new stores, we look forward to reaching even more customers and continuing to bring LifeWear to people across India.”

UNIQLO Stores Will Feature Modern Layouts
The Pune store at Phoenix Market City and the Bengaluru store at Phoenix Marketcity Bangalore will each span approximately 21,000 sq. ft., offering the brand’s full range of LifeWear collections for men, women, and children.
With a focus on enhancing customer experience, the company said both stores will feature modern layouts along with its signature visual identity to deliver a seamless and engaging shopping environment.
