National Institute of Securities Markets and IIMS Sign MoU to Boost Student Careers

Pune: The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) has called on the younger generation to actively pursue skills in the securities market and approach career opportunities in this dynamic sector with a positive mindset.

Shubhayu Das, Assistant General Manager of the National Institute of Securities Markets, made this appeal while addressing students at a seminar organized by the International Institute of Management Science (IIMS), Chinchwad, under Yashaswi Education Society.

He emphasized the importance of the securities market in building financial awareness and career development.

National Institute of Securities Markets Stresses Skill Development

In his address, Das provided detailed insights into the significance of the securities market and engaged with students through an interactive session. Using practical examples, he encouraged them to build relevant skills and explore diverse career pathways within the sector.

MoU Signed Between National Institute of Securities Markets and IIMS

As part of the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Institute of Securities Markets and IIMS to jointly conduct educational initiatives. Representing NISM, Shubhayu Das signed the agreement, while IIMS Director Dr Shivaji Mundhe signed on behalf of the institute.

According to Dr. Mundhe, the collaboration will provide students with valuable exposure to academic-industry partnerships, strengthening their career readiness. The program was anchored by students Komal Gaud and Riya Mirajkar, with Prof. Dr Madhura Deshpande delivering the vote of thanks.
