Pune: Venture Center-incubated startups ProtonCraft Innovations, NASADYA and Hydrovert Energy have been named winners of the recent MC2+ IGNITE programme under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG).
The three startups are working across hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and hydrogen fuel cell technologies, respectively.
ProtonCraft Innovations is building an advanced H₂S electrolyser designed to convert toxic hydrogen sulfide waste into green hydrogen and sulfur.
NASADYA is developing solid-state, metal-hydride-based stationary hydrogen storage systems.
Hydrovert Energy is developing indigenous hydrogen fuel cell powertrains for road and marine mobility, alongside zero-emission stationary power generators.
Venture Center has been selected by MC² Foundation, under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas’s MC²+ initiative, as the institutional MC² Node for energy venture creation.
MC2+ IGNITE is the flagship energy entrepreneurship initiative of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, designed to accelerate innovation across India’s energy ecosystem.
