Pune: Kirloskar Industries Limited (KIL), a flagship company of the Kirloskar Group, today announced the appointment of George Verghese as its Managing Director, effective May 21, 2025, for a five-year term ending May 20, 2030.
The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors at its meeting held today, subject to shareholder approval.
George Verghese brings over 20 years of rich leadership experience, having held key roles in reputed organizations such as Dell, Reliance Communications, and Cummins.
He has a proven track record in business strategy, operational execution, marketing, human resource transformation, and leadership development.
Since joining the Kirloskar Group in April 2021, Verghese has played a pivotal role in driving transformational initiatives. As the CHRO and Chief of Staff at Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited, he was a core member of the team that executed a successful strategic turnaround for the business.
His contributions have been instrumental in reshaping organizational culture and aligning business operations with long-term strategic goals.

George Verghese is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, where he completed his master’s in management, and holds an undergraduate degree in engineering from the College of Engineering, Munnar.
