  • KPIT Q2 FY27 Results: Revenue at $176.8 Million, New Engagements Worth $213 Million Won

    KPIT Q2 FY27 results

Pune: KPIT Technologies (NSE: KPITTECH, BSE: 542651), announced its financial results for the second quarter of FY27.

According to the company, the KPIT Q2 FY27 results show a rupee year-on-year growth of 6.5% and total contract value (TCV) of $213 million for new engagements won during the quarter.

The company reported the following figures for the quarter:

    • Revenue stood at $176.8 million.
    • The company gave a Q2 FY27 rupee (₹) year-on-year growth figure of 6.5%.
    • Year-on-year constant currency (CC) revenue growth was 0.2%.
    • Year-on-year dollar ($) revenue declined 2.2%.
    • EBITDA was at 17.8%, an expansion of 60 basis points from Q1 FY27.
    • EBIT was at 12.7%.

KPIT said growth in the quarter was broad based. It attributed the growth to the Trucks and Off-Highway segments, the US and India geographies, and the Connected and Aftersales domains, and said this helped offset an approximately 13% year-on-year revenue decline in its top two accounts.

Commenting on the KPIT Q2 FY27 results, Kishor Patil, Co-founder, CEO and MD of KPIT, said the quarterly performance was in line with expectations and reflected the early impact of the company’s renewed strategy.

“The mobility industry continues to navigate major shifts in technology priorities, investment cycles and business models. While some OEMs are recalibrating programs in response to near-term pressures, the structural need for software-led innovation, greater efficiency and faster time-to-market remains strong. Our Q2 FY27 performance is in line with expectations and reflects the early impact of our renewed strategy.

We are seeing broadening opportunities across Passenger Vehicles, Off-Highway and Trucks segments. Our offerings in Connected Vehicles and Aftersales are gaining traction, while Beacon, KPIT’s Mobility Intelligence product, is strengthening our strategic relevance with clients. Our AI-led approach is helping clients address evolving priorities via differentiated solutions, improved productivity and measurable business outcomes.

We believe these shifts create significant opportunities for KPIT. Our expanding capabilities, broadening market presence and AI-powered offerings position us well for sustainable medium-term growth and margin expansion,” he said.

Sachin Tikekar, President and Joint MD, KPIT, also commented on the KPIT Q2 FY27 results. He said, “Our priority has been to build a more diversified and resilient growth engine, and we are seeing tangible results.

Despite a sharp reduction in business from two of our largest clients, growth across several other existing and new clients has enabled us to largely offset the impact and maintain a broadly stable revenue base. We expect the decline in these two accounts to bottom out over the next couple of quarters.

Operationally, our focus is on scaling emerging accounts, converting opportunities into executable programs, and improving the quality and predictability of delivery. We have seen a marked improvement in our pipeline, supported by growing traction in US and India.

The Caresoft integration is strengthening our capabilities in Vehicle Engineering and Manufacturing Consulting, creating new opportunities. We are also accelerating the adoption of AI across engineering, delivery and internal operations to enhance productivity, speed and competitiveness.

With sharper execution, greater account diversification and an increasingly aligned organization, we are building a stronger foundation for sustainable growth.”
