New Delhi: International Tractors Limited (ITL), India’s No.1 tractor export brand and owner of Sonalika Tractors, is set to establish a new 25-acre Global Research and Development Centre in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The proposed facility follows a meeting between Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji and ITL’s management in Lucknow.
The proposed Global Research and Development Centre is envisioned as a global advanced engineering hub focused on developing future-ready technologies and farmer-centric innovations.
The facility is expected to strengthen ITL’s capabilities in agricultural research, engineering and the development of agri-solutions tailored to Indian and global market requirements.
The new greenfield Global Research and Development Centre represents the next phase of ITL’s three-decade journey of transforming agriculture through its ‘Jeetne ka DUM’.
The proposed development is aligned with Uttar Pradesh’s growing role as a destination for technology-led industrial investment.
ITL’s Next Phase of Agricultural Innovation
The meeting between ITL’s management and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath centred on the company’s vision for its next phase of agricultural innovation and its alignment with Uttar Pradesh’s expanding technology and industrial ecosystem.
The proposed Global Research and Development Centre will bring together engineering expertise and insights from farmers to develop agricultural solutions designed for both Indian and international markets.
The facility is also expected to contribute to the state’s broader innovation ecosystem through high-value engineering, skill development, employment generation and technology-led industrial advancement.
According to ITL, the Greater Noida facility marks a significant step in its long-term innovation roadmap for Uttar Pradesh and is intended to create an ecosystem focused on advanced engineering and agricultural technology.
