Clinikk Gets IRDAI Nod, Opens Three New Health Hubs in Bengaluru

Clinikk

Bengaluru: Integrated health system provider Clinikk has secured approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) to operate as a composite corporate agent.

The approval enables the provider to collaborate with insurance providers to design clinically aligned insurance products while delivering care through its own first-line healthcare network, strengthening its preventive healthcare model.

Coinciding with the regulatory clearance, the company has inaugurated three new Clinikk Health Hubs in Bengaluru – located in HSR Layout, Basveshwar Nagar, and Sahakarnagar.

The new facilities were inaugurated by Tejasvi Surya, Member of Parliament, Bengaluru South, and further reinforce the company’s AI-enabled, protocol-driven primary care approach aimed at working families and gig economy professionals seeking accessible outpatient care.

Clinikk Strengthens First-Line Care with Diamond OPD Membership

As part of its expansion strategy, Clinikk has also introduced its Diamond Membership, an annual OPD program designed to provide structured and comprehensive everyday healthcare.

The membership includes doctor consultations, medicines, diagnostics, specialist referrals, treatment coordination, and cashless services across Health Hubs and its partner network.

The initiative focuses on making first-line medical care predictable, affordable, and easily accessible for households requiring continuous outpatient support.

Commenting on the development, Bhavjot Kaur, Co-Founder of Clinikk, said that strengthening first-line care is essential to building sustainable healthcare outcomes.

She noted that the Corporate Agency license allows Clinikk to integrate care delivery with aligned insurance solutions, enabling early intervention and improving long-term health outcomes while supporting insurer risk sustainability.

During the inauguration, Tejasvi Surya highlighted the company’s role in advancing preventive healthcare through technology-driven neighborhood clinics.

He acknowledged the company’s focus on AI-led clinical protocols, early intervention, and lifestyle-based preventive care, stating that Clinikk represents one of the most advanced applications of artificial intelligence in India’s primary healthcare ecosystem.

Currently, Clinikk serves over 500 organisations, operates 12 Health Hubs across Bengaluru, and has supported more than 5 lakh patients.

With the IRDAI approval, new OPD memberships, and an expanding network of AI-supported care protocols, Clinikk is targeting ₹100 crore in insurance premium generation over the next 12 months through a combination of retail and employer-linked offerings.

AI-Driven Model for Preventive Healthcare

With nearly 80% of healthcare spending in India occurring outside hospitals, Clinikk’s model focuses on structured outpatient care through protocol-based evaluations, AI-assisted clinical decision support, coordinated diagnostics, and medicine access.

By embedding insurance within a strong first-line care framework, the company aims to reduce delayed treatment, financial strain, and avoidable hospitalisations.
