Hyderabad, India: Cricket legend MS Dhoni, alongside PadelPark India co-founders Nikhil Sachdev, Jigar Doshi and Pratik Doshi, has officially inaugurated 7Padel MS Dhoni in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
The ultra-premium indoor destination combines padel, fitness, recovery and wellness facilities under one roof.
The state-of-the-art 7Padel MS Dhoni facility spans 15,000 sq. ft. and features three padel courts, a fully equipped gym, a recovery suite, wellness studio and an in-house café.
The facility also includes a viewing gallery for spectators, creating an integrated sporting and lifestyle destination in Hyderabad.
Designed to bring athletic performance, wellness and social interaction together, 7Padel MS Dhoni includes a recovery suite equipped with a sauna, ice bath and infrared room.
The wellness studio is designed for activities including yoga and Pilates, while the in-house café provides a space for visitors to connect after matches.
The facility will also offer equipment rentals, certified coaching and local tournaments aimed at both first-time players and experienced competitors.
Through these offerings, 7Padel MS Dhoni seeks to create an environment that supports both participation and community building around padel.
Speaking on the expansion, Jigar Doshi, Co-Founder of PadelPark India, said, “Hyderabad has been on our radar for a while, and we felt the timing was right.
We’re seeing more people looking for sports that are active but also deeply social, and padel fits that need perfectly. With 7Padel, we want to create an inclusive environment where that culture can grow naturally through regular play, professional coaching, and structured competition.”
MS Dhoni Highlights Padel’s Grassroots Growth
Speaking at the inauguration of 7Padel MS Dhoni, MS Dhoni highlighted the importance of creating quality facilities and making the sport accessible to a wider audience.
“There is no shortcut to building a sport. Build good courts, look after the people who play on them, keep the doors open to anyone willing to try, and the game grows from the grassroots up. City by city, that is how padel will grow here. Hyderabad is a new chapter, and far from the last,” said MS Dhoni.
The launch of 7Padel MS Dhoni comes amid growing momentum for padel in India. 7Padel currently operates more than 50 owned and managed courts across Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Delhi, with a community of more than 55,000 players.
Hyderabad now joins the 7Padel network, while the company said it is set to open facilities soon in Kochi, Coimbatore, Chennai, Jaipur, Mumbai and Delhi NCR.
Padel Expansion Across India
The opening of 7Padel MS Dhoni comes as padel continues to expand across India. The sport currently has an estimated more than 125,000 active players and a rapidly growing network of courts nationwide.
PadelPark India has built more than 320 courts across the country and has set a target of reaching more than 500 courts by the end of 2027.
The company has been expanding the sport’s presence through a combination of courts, coaching, tournaments and community-led participation.
With the launch of 7Padel MS Dhoni in Jubilee Hills, PadelPark India is strengthening its presence in Hyderabad while expanding its broader national footprint.
