Bhubaneswar: AI-powered Connected Workforce solutions provider for retailers, Logile, Inc., has officially inaugurated Logile AI Innovation Center in Bhubaneswar.

The new hub marks a strategic investment in Odisha’s growing technology ecosystem, aiming to integrate engineering, data science, and product innovation to deliver the next wave of intelligent retail solutions.

The Logile AI Innovation Center will focus on developing advanced AI capabilities, including agentic AI systems and generative AI-powered interaction models, enabling autonomous, goal-driven agents to manage complex retail operations.

These innovations will enhance decision-making in forecasting, labor planning, task execution, replenishment, shrink reduction, and fresh production optimization.

Purna Mishra, Founder and CEO of Logile, highlighted the company’s vision: “We’re not just embedding AI in retail; we’re designing autonomous retail agents that learn, adapt, and collaborate in real time. Key focus areas for the Logile AI Innovation Center at Bhubaneswar include:

  • Building generative AI interfaces for natural, conversational engagement with retail staff.
  • Creating intelligent agents that leverage real-time data and continuous learning to improve store execution and operational efficiency.

The Logile AI Innovation Center will also act as a talent and innovation engine, with Logile planning to significantly expand its Odisha workforce through 2026. Strategic roles will span AI/ML engineering, agentic system design, generative AI UX, cloud-native development, DevOps, and product leadership.

Logile has initiated partnerships with local universities and technical institutes to foster research collaboration, mentorship programs, and internship opportunities, further strengthening Bhubaneswar’s status as an emerging technology hub.

Bhubaneswar’s location provides access to a talent-rich corridor spanning Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, West Bengal, and Eastern Uttar Pradesh, which together produce nearly 45% of India’s skilled graduates.

Dr Mukesh Mahaling, Odisha’s Minister of Electronics and IT, welcomed Logile’s investment, reinforcing the state’s AI-first vision and inviting global players to participate in the region’s technology transformation.
