Technovation Challenge 2026: Meet the Grand Prize Winners
The three Grand Prize-winning teams developed technology-driven solutions to address specific problems affecting individuals and communities.
- SAMRUQ.AI – Kazakhstan, Senior Division
SAMRUQ.AI developed a solution that monitors underground mining hazards in real time, enabling rescue efforts to begin before a disaster strikes. The project focuses on identifying potential dangers in underground mining environments to support timely emergency responses.
- Emergen – United States, Junior Division
Emergen created a scannable QR code that provides access to a person’s medical profile during an emergency. The solution allows emergency responders or other relevant individuals to access the information without requiring an app or passcode.
- MyWisTree.com – Canada, Beginner Division
MyWisTree.com developed a platform that saves and translates family stories shared by Indian grandparents through WhatsApp. The project aims to preserve these personal narratives and make them accessible across language barriers.
The three winning projects of the Technovation Challenge 2026 demonstrate how young innovators are applying AI and technology to address challenges in safety, emergency healthcare and cultural preservation.
