Bengaluru: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) registered 28,218 units in September 2026, including 25,027 units sold in the domestic market and 3,191 units exported (TKM September 2026 Sales).
The company announced its TKM September 2026 Sales performance on October 1, 2026, from Bengaluru. The September sales comprised 25,027 domestic units and 3,191 exported units.
TKM Records 8% Growth in January-September 2026 Sales
Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded cumulative sales of 2,94,914 units during January-September 2026, representing an overall growth of 8% compared with the corresponding period in 2025.
According to the company’s sales data, domestic sales stood at 2,69,619 units during January-September 2026, compared with 2,47,081 units during the same period in 2025. This represents a 9% year-on-year growth.
Exports during the period stood at 25,295 units, compared with 25,743 units in January-September 2025, registering a 2% decline.
Overall, Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s cumulative sales increased from 2,72,824 units in January-September 2025 to 2,94,914 units in January-September 2026, marking an 8% growth.
The TKM September 2026 Sales performance comes as the company reported continued customer interest across segments.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Operations
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has an equity participation of 89% from Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan, while Vikramgeet Investments and Holdings Private Limited, India, holds the remaining 11%.
The company has 6,662 employees, operates across approximately 432 acres, and has a building area of 74,000 square metres. Its total installed production capacity is up to 3,42,000 units.
TKM’s First Plant
Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s first plant was established in October 1997, with production beginning in December 1999. Located in Bidadi, the plant manufactures the Innova HyCross, Innova Crysta, Fortuner and Legender in India.
The first plant has an installed production capacity of up to 1,32,000 units.
TKM’s Second Plant
The company’s second plant began production in December 2010 and is located at the Toyota Kirloskar Motor site in Bidadi.
The second plant manufactures the Camry Hybrid, Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Hilux, with an installed production capacity of up to 2,10,000 units.
Other Toyota models listed by the company include the Glanza, Rumion, Urban Cruiser Taisor and Urban Cruiser Ebella. The company also lists the Vellfire and LC 300 as imported completely built units (CBUs).
