Toyota Kirloskar Motor Exports Grow 2%, Total Sales Up 10%

Toyota Kirloskar Motor August Sales

Bengaluru: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) announced its sales performance for August 2026, registering total sales of 32,842 units.

The Toyota Kirloskar Motor August 2026 sales figure includes 28,410 units sold in the domestic market and 4,432 units exported.

The company also recorded strong cumulative sales performance during the first eight months of calendar year 2026.

The Toyota Kirloskar Motor sales update comes as the automaker reported cumulative sales of 2,66,696 units between January and August 2026, compared with 2,41,733 units during the corresponding period in 2025.

According to the company, the cumulative sales performance represents an overall growth of 10% in CY 2026. The growth was supported by performance across both the domestic and export markets.

Domestic Sales Grow 11%

The company reported cumulative domestic sales of 2,44,592 units during January-August 2026.

This compares with domestic sales of 2,19,992 units during the same period in 2025, representing a growth of 11%.

The domestic market continued to account for the larger share of Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s cumulative sales during the eight-month period.

Exports Rise 2%

Toyota Kirloskar Motor also reported growth in its export volumes during the January-August 2026 period. The company exported 22,104 units in CY 2026, compared with 21,741 units during the corresponding period of 2025.

The export performance represents a 2% growth. Along with domestic sales, exports contributed to the overall 10% growth reported in the Toyota Kirloskar Motor August 2026 sales update.

The company’s domestic sales stood at 2,44,592 units, registering 11% growth, while exports reached 22,104 units, recording 2% growth. The Toyota Kirloskar Motor August 2026 sales performance therefore reflected growth across both key sales channels.

The company said its CY 2026 performance was supported by optimum performance across both domestic and export markets.

TKM sales announcement also comes ahead of the upcoming festive season, which the company said presents opportunities for the business.

With cumulative sales of 2,66,696 units during January-August 2026, TKM reported a 10% year-on-year growth in overall sales. Domestic sales grew 11% to 2,44,592 units, while exports increased 2% to 22,104 units.
