Larsen and Toubro Secures Large Government Contracts for Buildings and Factories Vertical

Mumbai: Engineering and infrastructure giant Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has announced the acquisition of large-value contracts for its Buildings and Factories (B&F) vertical from both central and state government bodies in India.

These new orders reinforce Larsen and Toubro L&Ts leadership in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) space and demonstrate its capabilities in delivering complex infrastructure projects under tight deadlines.

One of the key projects includes a prestigious EPC contract from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for the construction of Common Central Secretariat Buildings 6 and 7 in New Delhi. The development will consist of two buildings structured with 1 basement + 2 podium levels + upper ground + 6 floors.

L&T’s scope of work includes the civil structure, finishing, integrated MEP services, external site development, and five years of operations and maintenance.

In another major development, Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has also secured a design-and-build contract from the Government of Andhra Pradesh for constructing the State Legislative Assembly building. This project will include one basement, a ground level, and three floors.

Both projects are scheduled to be completed within a strict 18-month timeline, reflecting L&T’s commitment to precision and execution excellence.
