Pune: Healing Hands Clinic, a specialised proctology and anorectal care organisation, is set to expand its network from 40 to 100 centres across India over the next two years, backed by a $30 million investment from L Catterton.
The expansion will see Healing Hands Clinic add 60 new centres across India and extend its presence to more than 100 new pin codes.
The initiative is aimed at bringing specialised anorectal care closer to patients while strengthening the clinical, technological and operational systems needed to deliver consistent, high-quality care across its growing network.
Supported by L Catterton’s $30 million investment, Healing Hands Clinic will focus on improving access to specialised anorectal care across Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets. The expansion will also support the organisation’s development as a scalable specialty healthcare platform.

Healing Hands Clinic to Add 60 Centres Across India
As part of its expansion strategy, Healing Hands Clinic plans to open 60 new centres over the next two years. The organisation currently operates 40 centres across India and treats around 50,000 new patients annually.
Healing Hands Clinic began as a small outpatient centre in Pune and has since developed into a network supported by a flagship facility and a team of more than 800 people.
The planned expansion is intended to make specialised anorectal care more accessible across a wider geographic footprint, particularly in Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets.
Dedicated Proctology Hospital Planned in Pune
Healing Hands Clinic also plans to launch a dedicated super-speciality proctology hospital in Pune within the next 18 months.
The proposed hospital will provide dedicated infrastructure for the treatment of complex and recurrent conditions. It will also support advanced procedures, clinical research, surgeon training and specialised patient care.
The hospital is expected to become an important part of Healing Hands Clinic’s efforts to strengthen specialised anorectal care while expanding its capabilities in research and clinical training.

Healing Hands Clinic Focuses on Connected Care Network

According to Healing Hands Clinic, proctological conditions are often associated with stigma, misinformation and delayed consultation. These factors can prevent patients from seeking timely medical attention.
A 2026 study found coexisting anorectal disorders among patients with urinary incontinence. Healing Hands Clinic aims to address barriers to timely care by expanding access to specialists, encouraging earlier diagnosis and providing private and dignified care.
Focus on Research and Surgeon Training
As Healing Hands Clinic expands its network, the organisation plans to deepen its focus on research, surgeon training and community access.
The pace of expansion will be guided by clinical readiness, with the organisation stating that this approach is intended to ensure that quality standards remain consistent across its centres.
The organisation will continue to focus on developing specialised anorectal care while expanding its reach across India.
Healing Hands Foundation Conducts Community Health Camps
Through the Healing Hands Foundation, the organisation works to make specialised anorectal care more accessible and affordable.
The foundation has organised more than 400 community health camps as part of its community access initiatives.
Healing Hands Clinic’s World Piles Day 2025 initiative in Pune also earned a Guinness World Records title for the most people signing up for an anorectal screening in 12 hours. The initiative recorded 352 eligible participants screened.
