Mumbai: JSW Cement Q1 FY27 financial results show that JSW Cement Limited reported a 22% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to ₹1,896 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
The company reported total volume sold of 3.81 million tonnes, operating EBITDA of ₹298.6 crore and profit after tax (PAT) of ₹153.4 crore during JSW Cement Q1 FY27.
JSW Cement Q1 FY27 Volume Sold Rises 15%
During JSW Cement Q1 FY27, total volume sold increased 15% year-on-year to 3.81 million tonnes, compared with 3.31 million tonnes in Q1 FY26.
Cement volume sold stood at 2.34 million tonnes, registering a 27% year-on-year increase from 1.85 million tonnes in Q1 FY26. Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) volume sold was 1.33 million tonnes, up 3% year-on-year from 1.30 million tonnes in Q1 FY26.
The company said the strong year-on-year volume growth during JSW Cement Q1 FY27 was driven by continued momentum in cement volumes across existing regions, further supported by the robust ramp-up of volumes in the North region.
JSW Cement Commences Sales From Nagaur Unit
A key development during JSW Cement Q1 FY27 was the commencement of sales from the company’s new integrated unit in Nagaur district, Rajasthan.
JSW Cement commissioned the integrated unit on March 30, 2026. The facility has a clinker capacity of 3.3 MTPA and grinding capacity of 2.5 MTPA. Sales from the unit commenced in April 2026, initially targeting markets in Rajasthan and Haryana.
The company achieved an average utilisation rate of 55% from the Nagaur unit during JSW Cement Q1 FY27.
Revenue and EBITDA Performance
Consolidated revenue from operations during JSW Cement Q1 FY27 increased 22% year-on-year to ₹1,896 crore. Operating EBITDA stood at ₹298.6 crore, resulting in operating EBITDA of ₹784 per tonne.
Excluding North operations, operating EBITDA in JSW Cement Q1 FY27 increased 4% year-on-year to ₹336 crore, equivalent to ₹979 per tonne.
Total EBITDA, including other income, stood at ₹372.3 crore during JSW Cement Q1 FY27.
The company reported net debt of ₹3,856 crore as of June 30, 2026.

JSW Cement Q1 FY27 Capex and Expansion Update
JSW Cement continued to make progress on its announced expansion programme during JSW Cement Q1 FY27.
During the quarter, substantial progress was made on the installation of the Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS), Overland Belt Conveyor (OLBC) and Alternative Fuel and Raw Material (AFR) co-processing systems at the Nagaur integrated unit.
Work also progressed on the additional 1.0 MTPA grinding capacity at the Nagaur location. The company has begun work on an additional 2.5 MTPA grinding unit at Nagaur, which will take the total grinding capacity at the location to 6.0 MTPA.
During JSW Cement Q1 FY27, the company added a further 56 MW of wind capacity. Its total renewable capacity, including WHRS, reached 112 MW as of June 30, 2026.
The company incurred capex, including maintenance capex, of ₹337 crore during JSW Cement Q1 FY27.
Sustainability Performance and Recognition
JSW Cement said it continued to have the lowest carbon dioxide emission intensity in the industry at 338 kg CO2 per tonne of cementitious materials during JSW Cement Q1 FY27.
During the quarter, Shiva Cement was honoured with the Odisha Best Employer Brand Award and Best Innovation Award (EHS) at the World HRD Congress.
JSW Cement‘s Vijayanagar Plant was awarded the “GOLD AWARD” at the Green Enviro Environment Award & Summit for outstanding achievement in Environment Excellence.
JSW Cement also received the Global ESG Award 2026 (Diamond) in the Circular Economy category.
