Bengaluru: CA K Ravi has assumed office as the President of the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) for 2026-27, marking a significant leadership transition as the Chamber celebrates its Golden Jubilee.
Representing more than 850 member companies across manufacturing, technology, biotechnology, engineering, healthcare, food processing and services, BCIC enters its 50th year with CA K Ravi taking charge at a milestone moment in its history.
Founded in 1976, the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce has completed five decades of industry leadership, policy advocacy and economic development in Karnataka.
The Chamber said the new leadership will guide its next phase of growth while building on its legacy of fostering collaboration between industry, government and academia.
CA K Ravi to Lead BCIC into Its Next Phase of Growth
A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), CA K Ravi is a law graduate and Senior Partner of K.R. Kumar & Co. and K. Ravi & Associates.
He also serves as Director of VR e-Biz Solutions Pvt. Ltd., which provides specialised India Entry Consulting and Virtual CFO services.
With more than three decades of experience, CA K Ravi has built expertise in taxation, corporate advisory, governance and international business.
Recognised among Karnataka’s leading industry professionals, he became the first practising Chartered Accountant to serve as President of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) in the organisation’s 104-year history.
His leadership experience also includes serving as President of the Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association (KSCAA), Past President of Rotary Bangalore Orchards and Past Governor of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Florida, USA-Bangalore Chapter.
A long-standing member of BCIC, CA K Ravi has previously served as Chairman of the International Business Committee, Co-Chairman of the Start-up Committee and Member of the Managing Committee.
He has also led several international business delegations to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Israel, Oman, Malaysia and Canada, contributing to Karnataka’s global trade and investment engagement.
Speaking after assuming office as President of BCIC, CA K Ravi said: “It is a privilege to lead BCIC at such a historic milestone as we celebrate fifty years of serving Karnataka’s industry.

Under the leadership of CA K Ravi, BCIC said it will continue strengthening collaboration between industry and government while promoting innovation, manufacturing excellence and institutions that contribute to Karnataka’s long-term economic growth and global competitiveness.
Dr. Prashanth Reddy Appointed Senior Vice President of BCIC
Alongside the appointment of CA K Ravi, BCIC also announced Dr. Prashanth Reddy as its Senior Vice President for 2026-27. He joins the Chamber’s leadership during its Golden Jubilee year with nearly three decades of experience in engineering, manufacturing, marketing and business leadership.
A Mechanical Engineer with an MBA in Marketing and a PhD, Dr. Prashanth Reddy has spent the past thirteen years leading growth and innovation in the building materials and real estate sector.
Under his leadership, Fundermax India has completed more than 15,000 projects across the country in collaboration with architects, developers, hospitality companies, corporates and retail organisations.
The company operates through a network of over 40 business partners across India and the SAARC region and has received national and international recognition for its quality systems and sustainable green building practices.
Known for his strategic and customer-focused leadership approach, Dr. Prashanth Reddy believes organisations must continuously refine their strategies and remain agile in an evolving business landscape.
As Senior Vice President, he will work closely with CA K Ravi and the BCIC Managing Committee on initiatives related to international business expansion, manufacturing excellence, research, skilling, innovation and global partnerships.
