Mumbai: Captech Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a construction-technology company whose solutions are trusted by leading infrastructure firms across India, has relaunched Captech eFORCE, its Made-in-India, AI-assisted labour management app designed specifically for labour contractors in India.
The Captech eFORCE platform aims to bring greater transparency to workforce management, improve payment visibility and create more consistent job opportunities for India’s construction workforce.
The platform deploys construction labour 5x faster than traditional methods and enables workers to receive repeated job opportunities under the same construction company, supporting stability and long-term engagement.
Captech Technologies said Captech eFORCE was designed to address key inefficiencies in workforce mobilisation.
Compared with traditional methods, the platform makes labour deployment 5x faster and increases deployment capacity 8x, enabling more workers to be mobilised in less time.
The platform is designed to scale to lakhs of contractors and includes dedicated training programmes to help onboard contractors, including those who are not tech-savvy. AI-assisted phone calls and WhatsApp messages are used to support contractor onboarding, reminders and work-related updates.
Captech eFORCE Connects Labour Contractors With Construction Companies
Captech eFORCE initially went live in 2020 as a labour marketplace, and that functionality continues to be part of the platform.
Through the platform, a developer or contractor can post a workforce requirement along with the BOQ, drawings, scope and timelines.
Labour contractors can then apply with their credentials. PAN, GST and bank details are verified on the platform before work is awarded.
Once the work is awarded, Captech eFORCE handles work orders, crew deployment and Digital Daily Progress Reports on the same platform.
Senior management assigned to projects can also get visibility across multiple sites, including potential bottlenecks and crew shortages.
The platform currently works with more than 5,000 labour contractors, impacting close to 5,00,000 blue-collar workers across more than 30 projects in India.

Greater Visibility Into Kharchi and RA Bills
A key focus of the Captech eFORCE relaunch is improving visibility into payments and reducing the need for repeated follow-up calls between contractors and project teams.
Speaking about the relaunch, Asutosh Katyal, Founder & CEO, Captech Technologies, said, “Most contractors we work with have one recurring worry, and it is the bill. Has it been certified, and when will the money come? Until now the only way to find out was to keep calling the site office.
After this relaunch the contractor and the project team look at the same record, and it ties into the ERP the company already uses. We started out as a place to find labor. Captech eFORCE is now the platform on which a construction job is run, from the work order to the final payment.”
On Indian construction sites, many workforce and payment-related updates continue to be managed through phone calls, WhatsApp messages and spreadsheets.
For contractors managing crews across several projects, checking whether a bill has been certified can require repeated calls to project or site teams.
Captech eFORCE addresses this by enabling contractors to track Kharchi, or advances paid to workers for daily expenses, and running account (RA) bills from the time they are submitted.
Contractors can check whether a bill is still being processed or has been cleared for payment. On the construction company side, project teams can view pending bills across their sites through a single list.
Captech eFORCE Integrates With Existing ERP Systems
For construction companies, Captech eFORCE is designed to work with existing ERP systems rather than requiring companies to replace their current systems.
The platform connects directly with a company’s ERP, allowing information recorded on Captech eFORCE to flow into the company’s ERP automatically.
This includes work orders, progress reports and bills, reducing the need for site teams to enter the same information multiple times.
The integration is intended to improve operational efficiency while giving construction companies greater visibility into workforce deployment, project progress and payment-related workflows.
AI-Assisted Contractor Onboarding
Another feature of Captech eFORCE is AI-assisted onboarding through phone calls and WhatsApp messages. The feature is designed to help contractors who may not be comfortable using technology.
Beyond onboarding, the AI-assisted communication system also sends reminders and keeps contractors updated about their work.
The Captech eFORCE platform is currently operational in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Marathi and Bangla, supporting access for contractors across different parts of India.
