India Startup Funding Hits $219 Million During July 03–09, Led by Yotta’s $150 Million Round

Pune: India Startup Funding witnessed a healthy week during 03 July – 09 July, 2026, with Indian startups raising $219 million, according to the latest Sahyadri Startups–Tracxn Weekly Funding Tracker.

The funding volume increased 28.29% compared with the previous week (26 June – 02 July, 2026), when startups raised $171 million. However, the current week’s funding remained 79.10% lower than the $1.049 billion recorded during **19 June – 25 June, 2026.

The latest India Startup Funding data highlights a week dominated by late-stage investments, while seed-stage activity remained relatively limited.

Funding Trend

The tracker reported the following funding trend over the past three weeks:

  • 19 Jun – 25 Jun, 2026: $1.049 billion
  • 26 Jun – 02 Jul, 2026: $171 million
  • 03 Jul – 09 Jul, 2026: $219 million

Compared to the previous week, India Startup Funding increased by 28.29%, while remaining significantly below the exceptionally strong funding recorded during the week of 19–25 June.

Late-Stage Companies Dominated India Startup Funding

The stage-wise breakup of India Startup Funding showed that late-stage companies attracted the majority of investments during the current period.

  • Early-stage funding: 15.3%
  • Seed-stage funding: 8.2%

The figures indicate that India Startup Funding during the latest week continued to be driven primarily by mature startups.
