Pune: Worldline India has identified Pune as one of the top five cities in India for digital payment transactions in the second half of 2024, according to its latest report.
The report, which analyzes transaction data from July to December 2024, highlights Pune’s accelerating digital adoption. The city accounted for 11% of total transaction volume—up from 8% in H2 2023—and 10% of the overall transaction value, a significant rise from the previous 6%. This positions Pune alongside major metros like Bengaluru, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad in India’s digital payment ecosystem.
