VAMNICOM Convocation 2026: 93 Students Graduate from PGDM-ABM 31st Batch

Pune: The VAMNICOM Convocation 2026 was held today at the Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM), Pune, under the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, marking the 17th Annual Convocation Ceremony for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Agri Business Management (PGDM–ABM), 2023–25 (31st Batch).

A total of 93 students were conferred the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agri Business & Management) during the VAMNICOM Convocation 2026 ceremony.

Three meritorious students of the 31st batch received medals and PGDM–ABM degrees in person from Murlidhar Mohol, Minister of State, Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.

The PGDM–ABM programme, recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is graded as equivalent to an MBA degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.

VAMNICOM Convocation 2026 Highlights Academic Achievements and Cooperative Leadership

Minu Shukla Pathak, IRS, Director (I/c.), VAMNICOM and Secretary, NCCT, New Delhi, welcomed the Chief Guest, dignitaries, parents, faculty members, and graduating students.

She informed the VAMNICOM Convocation 2026 gathering that the Chief Guest inaugurated the Shivneri Auditorium and highlighted the academic, professional, and co-curricular initiatives undertaken by students during the two-year PGDM–ABM programme.

Addressing the VAMNICOM Convocation 2026 gathering, Murlidhar Mohol congratulated the graduating students of the 31st PGDM–ABM batch for achieving the milestone through dedication and discipline.

He emphasized the importance of the cooperative sector in strengthening India’s rural economy and stated that under the vision of “Prosperity through Cooperation,” the sector is witnessing significant reforms and growth.

The Minister noted that VAMNICOM graduates are not merely management professionals but future leaders of India’s cooperative movement.

He urged them to uphold the values of trust, cooperation, innovation, and responsibility in their professional journeys and expressed confidence that their contributions would strengthen the nation’s cooperative sector.

The announcement of medal winners was made by Dr D Ravi, HoC & Joint Programme Director.

  • Kishore Manogna Sundari – NCUI Meritorious Gold Medal (Overall Topper)
  • Karnati Bhanu Sree – NCUI Meritorious Scholarship and Silver Medal
  • Pasumarthi Monika Siri – Bronze Medal

The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr S Dharmaraj, Registrar, VAMNICOM.
