New Delhi: India’s premier science and technology startup incubator, Venture Center, hosted at CSIR–National Chemical Laboratory in Pune, has entered a strategic ‘Venture Center-BFI partnership’ with Blockchain For Impact (BFI) to help science-based Indian startups scale globally.
The Venture Center-BFI partnership is aimed at strengthening LEAP Global Accelerator, Venture Center’s flagship internationalization program, under the NIDHI Accelerator scheme supported by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
The Venture Center-BFI partnership agreement, signed in New Delhi, will empower healthcare and sustainability-focused startups to gain international market access through a structured, equity-free accelerator program that offers hands-on support for scaling innovations globally.
“This Venture Center-BFI partnership brings together Venture Center’s on-ground startup ecosystem with BFI’s global reach in healthcare innovation. Our shared goal is to help Indian startups compete internationally through strategic guidance and curated global exposure,” said Dr Premnath Venugopalan, Founding Director of Venture Center.
Key Features of the LEAP Global Accelerator under the Venture Center-BFI Partnership
- Tailored Global Readiness Support: Assistance with regulatory filings, international certifications, IP strategy, clinical validation planning, and investor readiness.
- Expert-Led Bootcamps and Mentorship: Startups will receive personalized mentoring from Indian and global experts, along with diagnostic workshops and strategic planning sessions.
- Curated Global Exposure: Demo days, matchmaking events, and connections with international investors, accelerators, embassies, and ecosystem leaders.
- Targeted Interventions: The program supports startups with structured go-to-market planning, compliance readiness, and partnership building.
