Pune: SKF India Industrial Limited has announced a ₹653 crore investment to establish a next-generation Factory of the Future manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra, marking a major step toward strengthening advanced manufacturing capabilities in India.
The upcoming Factory of the Future facility, expected to be ready by 2030, represents a strategic expansion of the company’s manufacturing footprint in India and reinforces its long-term commitment to digitalization, sustainability, and resilient supply chains.
The new Factory of the Future campus is designed to integrate advanced production systems with intelligent automation and environmentally responsible operations.
Planned as a lean, clean, and digitally enabled manufacturing campus, the Factory of the Future will significantly enhance production capabilities while establishing new benchmarks for efficiency, productivity, and sustainability across SKF India (Industrial)’s industrial operations.

Factory of the Future: Building Scalable Manufacturing Infrastructure
