The company, currently valued at $16.8 billion, is investing heavily in engineering leadership to support its growing global footprint, with Sonia Parandekar expected to play a central role in this expansion.

The company recently surpassed 1,000 employees in India and inaugurated a second 100,000 square foot office at Embassy Tech Village.

This facility houses engineering, product, sales, and customer support teams, further strengthening the company’s presence in the region.

Since entering India in 2017, Rippling has hired more than 20 former founders and entrepreneurs, enhancing its leadership depth.

With Sonia Parandekar now leading engineering, the company plans to double its India workforce to 2,000 employees over the next three years, underlining the strategic importance of the Bengaluru hub.

“Sonia has a track record of advancing complex systems and building exceptional teams,” said Albert Strasheim, Chief Technology Officer at Rippling.

Rippling provides businesses with a unified platform to manage HR, payroll, IT, and spend globally. By integrating systems such as payroll, expenses, benefits, and device management, the company enables organizations to automate and manage the entire employee lifecycle within a single platform.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Rippling has raised $1.8 billion from leading investors including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, and Bedrock.
