New Delhi: InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has announced the appointment of Aloke Singh as Chief Strategy Officer, marking a significant leadership addition as the airline strengthens its long-term growth roadmap.
Aloke Singh will play a pivotal role in shaping IndiGo’s strategic direction amid a rapidly evolving global aviation landscape.
In his new role, Aloke Singh will lead the company’s long-term strategic planning function and spearhead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
These initiatives will focus on accelerating growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and strengthening IndiGo’s competitive positioning globally.
Aloke Singh is expected to work closely with the leadership team on cross-functional priorities aimed at improving agility, elevating customer experience, and delivering sustainable shareholder value.
Aloke Singh: Deep Expertise across Strategy, Planning, Operations, and Commercial functions
His career reflects a strong track record in leading complex operational and cultural transformations, driving rapid growth, and managing large-scale expansion programmes. Aloke Singh’s appointment underscores IndiGo’s focus on strengthening its strategic leadership capabilities.
Prior to joining IndiGo, Aloke Singh served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Air India Express, where he played a key role in transforming the airline.
During his tenure, Aloke Singh led significant operational improvements and accelerated growth initiatives. His earlier leadership experience also includes senior roles in the Strategy domain at Air India and Oman Air.
