Mumbai: Celebrating its 25th anniversary in India, Skoda Auto India has registered a record-breaking 134% growth in H1 2025, selling 36,194 vehicles between January and June 2025 (Skoda Auto India Sales).

This marks the highest-ever half-yearly sales for the Czech automaker in the Indian market and catapults it into the top 7 automotive brands in India, up four positions from last year.

Skoda Auto India sales milestone surpasses the brand’s previous best of 28,899 units in H1 2022, reinforcing the company’s growing appeal among Indian consumers across metros, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities.

Skoda Auto India Sales: SUV Push Leads the Way

The launch of Kylaq, Skoda’s first sub-4 metre SUV, has expanded its reach in compact SUV segments and unlocked newer markets. Combined with the recently launched second-generation Kodiaq and existing models like Kushaq, Skoda’s SUV portfolio now caters to a broad range of mobility needs.

Strengthening the Sedan Legacy

Skoda continues to uphold its sedan lineage with Slavia, and anticipates the launch of a global sedan model in India. Across its portfolio, the automaker offers advanced turbocharged engines and automatic transmission options, promising a refined and enjoyable driving experience.

Expanding Footprint and After-Sales Support

Skoda Auto India has aggressively expanded its customer outreach – from 120 touchpoints in 2021 to over 295 touchpoints in mid-2025. It is on track to reach 350 touchpoints by the end of the year, strengthening its commitment to customer-centricity.

To ensure peace of mind for buyers, Skoda offers best-in-class standard warranties, optional extended maintenance plans, and now includes its SuperCare maintenance package free for the first year, delaying the first service cost to two years or 30,000 km, whichever is earlier.
