New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held separate interactions with leading global industry executives, emphasizing India’s growth potential, innovation ecosystem, and opportunities for international partnerships.

During the discussions, PM Modi focused on strengthening ties with global companies, expanding investments, and leveraging India’s youth-driven growth story.

PM Modi Meets Alstom CEO Martin Sion

The Prime Minister had a productive interaction with Martin Sion, Chief Executive Officer of Alstom.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi noted that Alstom already has a strong presence in India and appreciated the company’s continued confidence in the country’s economic trajectory.

As part of the Narendra Modi Global Collaboration Meetings, the Prime Minister commended Alstom’s commitment to the principles of “Make in India” and “Make for the World,” highlighting the company’s contribution to India’s manufacturing and industrial ecosystem.

The Prime Minister said that opportunities for collaboration and growth in India are expected to become even more promising in the coming years.

He further emphasized that India invites the world to collaborate with its young talent and innovation-driven workforce.

Sharing details of the interaction on X, the Prime Minister wrote:

“Had a productive interaction with the CEO of Alstom, Martin Sion. Alstom already has a strong presence in India. Their belief in India’s growth story and their efforts towards making in India and making for the world are commendable. And, the opportunities are going to get even better in the times to come. India invites the world to collaborate with our youth.”

In another significant engagement PM Modi interacted with Benoit Bazin, CEO of Saint-Gobain.

Expressing satisfaction over the discussion, PM Modi highlighted India’s ongoing transformation in infrastructure and urban development.

The meeting focused on opportunities to further expand Saint-Gobain’s footprint in India and strengthen cooperation in areas such as innovation and the circular economy.

The Prime Minister noted that India’s diversity and scale provide an ideal platform for developing construction solutions tailored to the needs of the Global South.

He emphasized the potential for deeper partnerships that can contribute to sustainable development and technological advancement.

Posting about the interaction on X, the Prime Minister stated: “Glad to interact with Benoit Bazin of Saint-Gobain. India is witnessing an unprecedented transformation in infrastructure and urban development.
