Indian Rider Ashish Limaye Earns Dual Qualification for World Games and Asian Games 2026

Pune: Indian equestrian rider Ashish Limaye has achieved a significant milestone for the country at the prestigious equestrian competition held in Sopot, delivering strong performances in both the CCI 3S and CCI 4L categories.

The achievement marks another major international success for Ashish Limaye, who secured individual qualifications for both the World Games and the Asian Games 2026.

Competing against some of the finest international riders, Ashish Limaye secured fourth position in the CCI 4L category aboard D’Avril du Pinier among 11 participants, thereby qualifying for the World Games.

In another impressive performance, Ashish Limaye finished fourth in the CCI 3S category riding Willy Be Dun among 44 participants, earning qualification for the Asian Games in the category.

With this achievement, Ashish Limaye has secured his individual qualification on Willy Be Dun in the CCI 3S category for the Asian Games 2026, scheduled to be held in Japan in September.

He has also qualified aboard D’Avril du Pinier in the CCI 4L category for the World Equestrian Games, which will be hosted in Germany in August 2026.

The consistent international performances of Ashish Limaye continue to underline the growing strength of Indian equestrian sport on the global stage.

His journey and continued success have been supported by Embassy International Riding School (EIRS), which has played a major role in nurturing world-class equestrian talent from India while providing riders with international exposure and training opportunities.
