Pune: Cancer Healer Center has announced the launch of its new centre in Pune, marking the organisation’s 30th facility across India and its fifth centre in Maharashtra.
The launch was announced during a press conference held in Pune, where the organisation underscored the growing importance of timely consultation, early detection awareness, and patient-centric cancer care beyond major metropolitan cities.
The expansion of Cancer Healer Center comes at a time when Maharashtra is witnessing a significant rise in cancer cases.
According to the Maharashtra cancer profile released by ICMR-NCDIR, the state is expected to record more than 1.30 lakh new cancer cases in 2026, including 61,703 cases among men and 68,762 cases among women.
The report also highlights major cancer-related risk factors in the state, including tobacco consumption, exposure to second-hand smoke, obesity, and various lifestyle-related health risks.
Against this backdrop, Cancer Healer Center aims to strengthen access to timely cancer consultation, early guidance, and continued care for patients across Pune and neighbouring regions.
The newly established Pune facility of Cancer Healer Center has been designed to offer specialised cancer consultations, personalised treatment planning, follow-up support, and structured guidance for patients from Pune and surrounding areas.
The centre seeks to address delays that often arise due to uncertainty around diagnosis and treatment decisions, repeated travel requirements, and limited access to expert medical opinions.
During the press conference, Dr. Tarang Krishna, Managing Director, Cancer Healer Center, interacted with the media on the importance of cancer awareness, early diagnosis, and continuous patient support.
Discussions also focused on strengthening regional cancer care access to ensure that patients receive timely medical guidance closer to their homes.
Cancer Healer Center follows an immunology-informed approach to cancer care, placing emphasis on understanding each patient’s disease profile, immunity status, medical history, treatment response, and overall quality of life.
The Pune facility will support patients through personalised care pathways, regular monitoring, and compassionate follow-up throughout different stages of treatment.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Tarang Krishna, Managing Director, Cancer Healer Center, said, “The rising cancer burden in Maharashtra makes it clear that patients need timely guidance, early clarity and continuous care support. In many cases, families lose valuable time because they are unsure about symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options or the next step after reports.
With our Pune centre, our aim is to bring structured, patient-centric and immunology-informed cancer care closer to people. This launch is not only an expansion milestone, but also a step towards improving access to consultation, awareness and follow-up support for patients across Pune and nearby regions.”
The Pune centre will also contribute to the broader awareness initiatives of Cancer Healer Center, focusing on early warning signs, timely medical intervention, and the importance of regular follow-up.
The organisation believes that improved access to consultation and care guidance can enable patients to make informed treatment decisions and minimise delays in their treatment journey.
With the inauguration of the Pune facility, Cancer Healer Center has further strengthened its footprint in Maharashtra while continuing its efforts to make cancer care more accessible, personalised, and continuous for patients across India.
