Godrej Wins Carbon Capture Equipment Order for European CCUS Project

Mumbai: Godrej Enterprises Group, through its Process Equipment division, has bagged a prestigious international order to supply its largest-ever equipment for a carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) project in Europe.

This landmark order further positions India as a competitive global manufacturing hub for clean energy technologies.

The high-efficiency carbon capture unit, designed for advanced CO₂ separation, represents a new scale of engineering and manufacturing complexity for Godrej.

With this, the company solidifies its role as a trusted exporter of precision heavy engineering solutions to over 45 countries, especially in the clean tech and energy transition space.

Currently, 70% of the Process Equipment business revenue comes from exports. This order aligns with Godrej’s strategy to diversify its clean energy equipment exports amid accelerating global demand for carbon reduction technologies.

It also marks a significant milestone under the “Make in India for the World” initiative, reinforcing India’s capabilities in manufacturing equipment for carbon capture and climate action.
