Panaji: FLY91 Goa Solapur Flight has been launched and is now open for booking. FLY 91 has expanded its domestic footprint with the launch of direct flights between Goa and Solapur, furthering its commitment to accessible, last-mile connectivity across India.
The FLY91 Goa Solapur flight brings the airline’s network to eight destinations nationwide. Based out of Manohar International Airport, Goa, FLY91 continues to focus on underserved tier-II and tier-III markets.
The newly introduced route connects Goa’s thriving tourism hub with Solapur, a major textile and industrial city in southwestern Maharashtra.
“With the launch of the Goa–Solapur route, we aim to provide fast, safe, and reliable travel for both business and leisure segments,” said Manoj Chacko, MD & CEO of FLY91.
“Solapur also serves as a spiritual gateway, and this route will benefit thousands of pilgrims heading to iconic religious sites in Maharashtra.”
FLY91 Goa Solapur Flight: Unlocking Access to Maharashtra’s Pilgrimage Circuit
The new FLY91 Goa Solapur flight offers direct access to five major pilgrimage destinations, including:
- Pandharpur – Home to the revered Vitthal-Rukmini Temple
- Tuljapur – Famous for the Tulja Bhavani Temple
- Akkalkot – Renowned for the Swami Samarth Maharaj Temple
- Gangapur – A spiritual hub for devotees of Sri Narasimha Saraswati
- Bhimashankar – One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva
These sites draw millions of devotees annually, and the Goa–Solapur route is expected to significantly reduce travel time for pilgrims and tourists alike.
Government and Stakeholder Support
FLY91 acknowledged the continued support of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of Maharashtra, DGCA, Airports Authority of India, and HPCL for facilitating the expansion into Solapur.
“We’re grateful to all our stakeholders who have enabled this launch,” added Chacko. “This route will help unlock Solapur’s economic and spiritual potential while strengthening regional connectivity from Goa.”
In addition to Goa and Solapur, FLY91 currently operates flights connecting Hyderabad, Pune, Jalgaon, and Sindhudurg, with a growing network that reflects its mission to serve India’s emerging aviation markets.
