FDRE Project: Suzlon Wins 381 MW Wind Order from Zelestra India

Pune: Suzlon Group, India’s foremost provider of wind energy solutions, has bagged a significant 381 MW wind energy order from Zelestra India and its affiliates for their debut FDRE Project (Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy).

This milestone partnership marks a major step in Zelestra’s clean energy roadmap and underlines the growing demand for firm, scalable, and round-the-clock renewable power in India.

The project will deploy 127 of Suzlon’s next-gen S144 wind turbines, spread across:

  • Maharashtra – 180 MW
  • Madhya Pradesh – 180 MW
  • Tamil Nadu – 21 MW

While the Maharashtra and MP components are part of the SJVN FDRE bid, the Tamil Nadu segment will cater to the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) power market, emphasizing the project’s diversified impact.
