New York & Stockholm: Endra, the Stockholm-based AI company developing an AI-powered platform for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering, has announced its expansion into the United States and the United Kingdom with new offices in New York, San Francisco and London.
The move follows Endra’s $50 million Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz earlier this year and comes ahead of the company’s Epoch launch event in Las Vegas this September.
The expansion positions Endra to support engineering consultancies as growing demand for data centers, electrified infrastructure, hospitals, urban developments and net-zero projects increases pressure on the global engineering workforce.
According to the company, the engineering capacity required to deliver modern construction projects has become a significant constraint as industries race to meet infrastructure and sustainability goals by 2030.
Engineering Capacity Emerging as a Major Construction Challenge
According to Endra, MEP engineering forms the foundation of every major building project.
Engineers are responsible for calculating loads and flows, sizing systems, placing thousands of devices, routing cabling, ductwork and piping, coordinating across engineering disciplines, and producing documentation used for project pricing and construction.
Delays in MEP engineering can delay entire construction projects.
The company said the challenge is intensifying as engineering complexity rises due to data centers, electrified buildings, hospitals, dense urban developments and net-zero mandates.
At the same time, the industry faces a shortage of qualified MEP engineers, limiting its ability to keep pace with growing demand.
Endra believes engineering firms require technology that helps scale engineering expertise rather than simply providing another drafting solution.

AI Platform Built for Enterprise MEP Engineering
Endra has developed a purpose-built AI platform designed specifically for enterprise MEP engineering consultancies.
The platform ingests standard building model files, integrates with BIM software including Revit, and reconstructs buildings within a detailed 3D environment.
From there, the platform automates system design, device placement, routing, model generation and compliance-ready documentation across both 3D and 2D deliverables.
According to Endra, an electrical design for a 500,000-square-foot commercial building that traditionally requires approximately two months can be completed in less than a day using its platform.
US Becomes Centerpiece of Growth Strategy
The United States has become the central focus of Endra’s global expansion strategy. Co-Founder and President Anton Juric is leading the company’s US go-to-market efforts, with Endra already engaging engineering consultancies across the country, including several of the world’s largest engineering firms.
“Having spent the past year in discussions with the largest design firms in the world, one thing has become clear: the shift to AI-native engineering is underway,” said Anton Juric, Co-Founder and President of Endra.

London Office to Support Europe and Middle East
Alongside its US expansion, Endra is strengthening its presence in the United Kingdom through its London office. The company said the office will serve major engineering consultancies while acting as a strategic hub for enterprise customers across Europe and the Middle East.
Endra is also hiring across engineering, sales and customer success functions in New York, San Francisco and London as it works toward a global workforce of approximately 100 employees over the next twelve months.
The company noted that expanding into the US and UK also requires adapting its platform to local engineering codes, standards and design workflows.
Hadla Bergman, who joined Endra from Swedish autonomous freight company Einride, is among the engineers working to make the platform native to these markets.

Epoch Event Scheduled for September
The international expansion also prepares Endra for its upcoming Epoch event, scheduled to take place in Las Vegas on September 14, 2026.
According to the company, Epoch will bring together engineers and innovators to unveil Endra’s electrical module and present its vision for AI-native MEP engineering. The event will feature speakers including chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov.
