The recent approval of the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme marks another major milestone in India’s journey towards defence self-reliance.
The fifth-generation fighter aircraft project is expected to enhance collaboration between the public and private sectors while accelerating indigenous research, advanced manufacturing and technology development.
