Porsche India has launched the new Cayenne Electric in India, marking a new chapter for one of the brand’s established model lines and further expanding Porsche’s electric vehicle portfolio in the country.
The Cayenne Electric arrives in India in two model variants, bringing all-electric mobility to the Cayenne range while retaining the versatility and everyday usability associated with the model.
Porsche will also continue to sell the petrol variants of the Cayenne into the next decade.
The new generation combines the driving performance expected from a Porsche with the benefits of an electric powertrain, offering customers a new interpretation of the Cayenne experience.
“The Cayenne enters an important new era with electrification, combining uncompromising Porsche performance with electric mobility while remaining unmistakably Porsche,” said Ashutosh Dixit, Head of Porsche India.
“It continues to offer the everyday usability our customers expect from the Cayenne, together with the performance, engineering and driving experience that define our sports cars.
Its introduction marks an important next chapter for Porsche in India as we continue to broaden the choices available to our customers.”

Porsche Cayenne Electric Expands EV Portfolio
The Cayenne Electric strengthens Porsche India’s product offering by adding another fully electric option to the brand’s existing model portfolio.
Alongside the Cayenne Electric, Porsche is also introducing the higher-performance Cayenne Turbo Electric from launch.
This gives customers the option to select between the two variants based on their individual performance and ownership requirements.
The introduction of the Cayenne Electric brings electric mobility to the Cayenne model range while maintaining the model’s focus on everyday usability.
Porsche Cayenne Electric Price in India
The new Cayenne Electric has been introduced in India at a starting price of ₹1,77,27,000.
The Cayenne Turbo Electric is priced at ₹2,27,51,000.
Customer deliveries of both variants will begin from 30 September, coinciding with the model’s official launch in Mumbai.
The Mumbai launch will introduce the Cayenne Electric to Indian media and customers ahead of deliveries commencing on the same day, bringing the latest chapter of the Cayenne to Porsche customers across the country.
With these launches, Porsche India has expanded the choice of fully electric models available to customers while continuing to offer petrol-powered Cayenne variants into the next decade.
