Titagarh Rail Systems has decades of expertise in shipbuilding, having delivered over 35 vessels for institutions including the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, NIOT, and GRSE. One of its vessels was notably showcased at the 12th Presidential Fleet Review, a rare recognition for a non-defense vessel.

Speaking about the order, Umesh Chowdhary, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Titagarh Rail Systems Limited, stated: “We are honoured to partner with GRSE for the construction of Coastal Research Vessels for the Geological Survey of India. This milestone reflects our strong collaboration with GRSE and reaffirms our capabilities in delivering world-class maritime assets aligned with India’s vision of strengthening its shipbuilding infrastructure.”
